For over 100 years, Windeckers have called land in the Mohawk Valley our home, work, business and responsibility. Today, we tend 550 acres to feed our animals and family, to have a profitable, sustainable family business, and to share for recreation, wildlife, open space and views.
We are glad to provide the food we produce to you.
Because of the rolling hills topography, having pastures for grazing and fields to grow hay from timothy and fescue grass is what our land resource lends itself to.
So caring for animals that take care of the Windecker Family has been a family business for four generations. Dale’s great-grandfather started the dairy and made cheese on the farm. Today, our business is selling milk from the dairy herd and meat from the beef herd that nicely coexist. With our children, Kayla and Bryce, we strive to have each new generation of animals to be healthier, more comfortable, and win a few awards along the way.
